I made my first golf club out of sticks and boundary wire growing up in Harare. Now I'm 47, living in the UK, and playing every course I can — telling you honestly what it's like.
I grew up in Harare making golf clubs out of sticks and boundary wire. There were no fees, no fairways — just the back of the camp and a deodorant roll-on for a ball. I came to the UK in 2002, played my first real round at Stockwood Park in September 2004, and left completely addicted.
I'm not a scratch golfer. I'm a 10-plus handicapper with a demanding career, two sons, and a deep love for this game. Golf Passport UK is my honest journal — every course I've played, every round as it really was. No filters, no sponsorships.
